Present at the 2026 Annual Symposium
FL SCCM is accepting abstracts and case reports for the 2026 Annual Symposium. Submit by August 10 to be considered for Star Research Presenter recognition and scholarship eligibility. Late submissions will be accepted through September 3.

Abstract and Case Report Submissions
Submit your research for the Florida Society of Critical Care Medicine 2026 Annual Symposium.
Priority Deadline: Monday, August 10
Submit by this date to be considered for Star Research Presenter recognition and scholarship eligibility. This is a hard deadline. No exceptions will be made.
Late Submission Deadline: September 3
Abstracts submitted after August 10 will be accepted through September 3. Late submissions will not be considered for Star Research Presenter designation or scholarship opportunities.
Encore Abstract Submissions
FL SCCM will accept Encore abstract submissions for research previously presented at the SCCM national conference in 2025 or 2026. If your work was submitted and presented at either conference, you are encouraged to share it with Florida’s critical care community.
Encore submissions must be limited to research from 2025 or 2026.
Florida Society of Critical Care Medicine Scholarship Information
Up to three scholarships of $1,000 each will be awarded for recipients to attend the SCCM Congress or another affiliated SCCM educational event.
Applicants must:
- Have an abstract or case report accepted for the symposium
- Be a FL SCCM chapter member in good standing
- Submit a current CV
- Submit an essay of no more than 500 words explaining how attending an SCCM educational session would benefit critical care at their hospital
- Submit their research by August 10
Scholarship materials may be submitted through the symposium application after an abstract or case report has been accepted.
